Hi,
we have the following setup
MQWF version: 3.3.0.0
OS : AIX
2tire setup
No of Execution Server: 3
recently we encountered some problem, the Execution server was not responding due to some reason,it was giveing time out error when user were trying to perform some action on workflow. When we tried to stop workflow server using fmcautil it gave following error :
03/25/03 18:25:58 FMC10030W System is being shutdown.
03/25/03 18:26:03 FMC12290E The execution server for system FMCSYS is not responding to control requests.
03/25/03 18:26:08 FMC12000E The requested shutdown of system FMCSYS could not be completed.
03/25/03 18:26:08 FMC10130I Administration server for system FMCSYS stopped.
Following are the log message from DB2 and MQSeries
DB2 log:
ser Exit returned error when archiving log file S0003171.LOG from /var/fmc/rt_db/db2inst1/FMCDB/ for database FMCDB, error code 16
2003-03-25-19.44.46.576969 Instance:db2inst1 Node:000
PID:36122(db2cart) Appid:none
data_protection sqlpgart Probe:490
Error received from userexit program.
DB2 will not call userexit program for this database for 5 minutes.
MQSeries Log:
AMQ7469: Transactions rolled back to release log space.
AMQ9208: Error on receive from host aam23.
EXPLANATION:
An error occurred receiving data from aam23 over TCP/IP.
This may be due to a communications failure.
I am trying to figure out why the EXECUTION Server was not responding, can any body figure out what may be the possible reason.
Thanks in advance _________________ IBM Certified Solutions Expert - MQSeries Workflow |

Yes we are doing reorgchk / rebind regularly, the load on Workflow is server is very high we process more than 1000 process perday and more than 4000 workitems a day.
Well from log it seems there was some problem with DB2 FMCDB database. Anyone has idea about userexit program ?
I am not sure why Error No AMQ7469, AMQ9208 came in FMCQM queue manager log file, i am still investigating on these things. _________________ IBM Certified Solutions Expert - MQSeries Workflow |
