I am running the web client (3.5) on a solaris 8, using Oracle 9i. I have one user that when she tries to connect from her work station, she always gets "Your session has timed out" message. Even after successfully logging in, then she logs out, and tries to log in again, she gets this message.
I reset the session time out from 20h to 1h last Friday. I checked the SESSION_WF table this morning and my session was the only entry. Yet, when she tried to log in, she got the message.
This machine is using Browser IE 6.0.2800.1106; SP1, which is the same as mine.
This seems to only be happening on this machine. No one else has reported this behavior.
Does anyone have any ideas? I would greatly appreciate it!!

try logging in that user from your machine and see if you experience the same behaviour.
This is probably a network or your web server issue. _________________ -Ratan |

As it turned out, when the user saved the url in her favorites list, she was on an active session. So, every time she clicked on that link, it was trying to find that session, which was no longer valid, thus giving her the "Session not valid" message on the login screen. I had her delete that url, then save a new one no associated with a session, and it worked fine. |
