Hi,
We have a WMQI 2.1 Broker on Mainframe (OS/390). We have 5 execution groups running on the broker. the message flows are assigned to these execution groups on the basis of business nature of the flows. We want to assign the service class to high only for selected execution groups, i.e the tasks associated to the execution groups.
After each IPL or recycling of the broker, we will have to re-assign the service class to high for only those 2 execution groups which have the aggregation time out set to 60 secs.
--> Our broker name is MQPEBRK and when the broker is started the tasks names are like MQPEBRK, MQPEBRK1,MQPEBRK2 upto MQPEBRK6..On what basis the broker jobnames are assigned like MQPEBRK2, MQPEBRK3 to a particular execution group?
--> After each recycle of the broker, the numbering against the execution group appears to be different? Currently we issue the command to list the execution groups and then use the PID displayed to find out the jobname. But this is done manually.
/f mqpebrk,l
/d omvs,pid=nnn
-->Is there any method to automatically find out which jobname stands for which execution group? Our objective is to automate assigning the service class automatically after the IPL?
-Thanks..
