I want to code for single user login,Customized Fat client with differnet look and less features.

The general idea is, I dont want PEA to launch application, but my Active X controls will be embeded in Cliet itself and they'll get refreshed when any work item is started.

Kindly suggest how to achive this.
Is it must in MQWorkflow that a exe should be called for each program activity?
Can client application itself become target application(activity programs) with no separate window is launched?

How to access container data, based on which client application will be refreshed?

Also, the Run Time Client sample VB code doesnt help much because it uses Active X controls.I can not run it in debug mode too as it ask for license file. But its already there. Any idea why?

Thanks.

Sanju:

What you want to do can be accomplished via Checkout/Checkin. No PEA is used, the client will have to run the application logic. The Checkout method will give you access to the input container, the output container is accessed directly from the workitem.

One word of caution, the Fat client is going away. The direction is towards the thin client.

An Executable MUST be specified for every activity. BUT if you use Checkout/Checkin instead of start, it may never be called.
