Hi "artham",

When configuring WMQI and Oracle and an error is returned with a 'Driver does not support this function'
then typically the reason is that you have not enabled "SQLDescribeParam".

Refer to the WMQI Admin Guide, Chapter 3, Defining an ODBC connection for the broker database
(which is also applicable for a user database), ODBC on Windows NT, Oracle 8
- Under the Advanced tab of the driver settings, ensure that the Enable SQLDescribeParam box is checked.

Your error also shows you are using passed in parameters which requires this functionality.

Error executing SQL statement 'SELECT UI.user_id FROM um.userinfo UI WHERE (UI.login)=(?)' against datasource 'x' with parameters ''BDMOBU01'

Yes, you can use WMQIv2.1 with Oracle 9iR1 (9.0.1) using the WMQI supplied "MERANT 3.70 Oracle8 Driver".
