Recently,we had emulated a situation of disaster on my installation. We have an aplication putting monetary msgs (on NSK), send it to a MVS.
Scenario: The QMGR on MVS is down. All the msgs are in the XMIT Queue (on NSK). At this moment the Tandem Machine is down , & it is not possible up, because a critical Hardware component (no RDF). We need send it this messages quickly (the disks are OK).
Solution: Put the Qfiles disk on another Tandem Machine, & a simple FUP DUP (or FUP LOAD) on other Qfiles on other qmgr & the messages are in the queue of the other QMGR.
Of course i know the names of the Qfiles.
