Hi
We are using IIB 10 version. We had plain version of web admin portal (without user and password). Recently, our audit raised this as an issue and asked to have this admin portal with user and password..
For this , we have followed this procedure..
mqsichangeauthmode BEAIXLX07U -s active -m mq
mqsiwebuseradmin BEAIXLX07U -c -u mbadmin -r wmbuat -a Aaa@102030
mqsiwebuseradmin BEAIXLX07U -c -u mbreader -r wmbuat -a Aaa@1111
mqsistop BEAIXLX07U
mqsistart BEAIXLX07U
netstat -an | grep 4416
After, we were able to connect admin portal using the above user and password.
But, the issue we are facing is when we deploy any bar file using below command and got the error.
mqsideploy -i tcp://mbadmin:Aaa%40102030@162.161.83.211 -p 4416 -e Group70 -a TMCustMngMFPrj~V3.3.0.0.bar -w 360
BIP8509E: Invalid user name or password.
Administration security is enabled. A valid user name and password must be provided.
Retry with the correct user name and password. If you are still unable to log in, contact your IBM App Connect Enterprise administrator, who can reset the password by using the mqsiwebuseradmin command. If too many unsuccessful login attempts are made, your account will be locked for 300 seconds.
BIP8139E: The user issuing this command does not have the required permissions to execute the command.
The userId that the command is being run under must have the required authority to execute the command.
Check that the user has the required authority to execute the command.
Please assist us

Can you try using a password that does not contain '@'.
This could be confusing the parsing of the URI. _________________ Glenn |

Hi gbaddeley
Thanks .. It worked..
So, is that mean we need to use the password without @, # , etc characters.
Now, we are facing following issues
1. While we add this integration nodes in Toolkit using the above user (mbadmin) and password, getting following error message
Quote: |
The Integration Node could not be reached. Please check that the Integration Node has been started and check that the Web Admin Listener has started.
Check that,
1. The integration node is running.
2. The TCP/IP port used by the integration node's web user interface is active.
3. The integration node name provided in the connection details matches the name of the integration node if the node is remote.

.
Can you please advise ?
2. We want to create one user id(in web portal) with read-only access. This user should not be allowed to stop/start the EG or create a new EG, etc.
Can you please assist us
Thanks and Regards
