Hi
When UPES sends the response to workflow if the correlationID contains forward slash '/' workflow is rejecting the reply from UPES indicating XML parser error. Does anyone know why this happens a '/' is not a special char in XML.
Thanks

Not exactly. Check in programming guide:
Quote: |
When processing an MQ Workflow XML message, MQ Workflow checks if the message has the correct format.
Data structure and data member names must not contain reserved XML characters as there are '<', '>', and '/'. If such a name is used in an XML message, the generated XML is not well formed and cannot be parsed.

I've been using the UPES interface ever since it came out and have not run into this problem. Did you get the correlation id from an ActivityImplInvoke message? If so, then I would say IBM has a problem since you must be able to send the correlation id back to the workflow server when responding to an ActivityImplInvoke message.
I would submit a PMR to IBM explaining the problem and include the correlation id or the entire ActivityImplInvoke XML message that is causing the problem. _________________ Doug Krawczynski
