HI,
We are trying to setup LDAP authentication on the QMGR .
currently the MQ admins uses blockip to connect to the QMgr.

We use MO71 tool to connect to the qmgr for our daily monitoring activities.
we have setup the ldap authentication on a test qmgr and configured the same on MO71 to use ldap credentials to connect.
here on MO71 we are using Tools.Admin channel to connect .

My question is if we configure it on the qmgrs where applications connect to , will they also need to use the same authentication method?
currently they are also using Blockip

Is there a way to configure this authentication on any particular channel, as i believe that we do it on the qmgr level.
