Hi,

I'm running WMQI 2.1 CSD03 on Solaris.

Is it possible to modify the broker user's profile, for example to update an value of an environment variable, then activate this new value without having to restart the broker (i.e. mqsistop and mqsistart) ?

The broker is running as a process. If you can change the environment of a running process in Solaris, then you should be able to change the environment of the broker.

But I don't know Solaris well enough to say if you can change the environment of a running process.
