Tried to look at the MQ Explorer and was not able to do a STATAPP output of amqsrua:
Code:
amqsrua -m MQ93 -c STATAPP -t INSTANCE -o "MQ Explorer 9.3.0"
does not produce any output.

Any help appreciated

If you do "DIS CONN(*) APPLTYPE" you'll see that Explorer shows up as "SYSTEM".

Only USER apps get considered for publishing resource metrics.

(The choice of what exactly is considered SYSTEM was always slightly debatable but putting Explorer on that list helped with a number of instance "counting" requirements.)

Is it considered SYSTEM because it "comes from IBM" or because "it is doing 'system' work rather than 'application' work"?
