Hi,
I have problem when testing using the sample send programs for AMI Java and the MQRFH2 header.
In the AMI Administration tool:
I am setting the Service Type to 'MQSeries Integrator V2'
Default MCD Domain: xml
Default MCD Set: myMcdSet
So far so good.
However both the SendFile and SendForget doesn't do what they should.
1) SendFile sets the MQMD format to MQHRF and not to MQHRF2. I tried to set the amMsgFormat to AMFMT_RF2_HEADER but fail, beacuse then I set the format in the RFH(2). Not sure how I can access the MQMD anylonger, since it is set by my service point.
2) SendForget sets the MQMD format to MQHRF2 (which is correct) however the RFH2 seem to be pretty messed up, and I guess from the AMI readme section below, that it is related to this.
Quote:
12.2 Java AmMessage.addElement sets an invalid data type value in the
name/value data of an MQRFH2 (MQSeries Integrator Version 2) message
causing the message to be ignored or rejected by the broker.
Btw. Anyone know when next version of AMI will be out.
I am using the V1.2.3 that was released 22th of february.
I am using MQSeries 5.2.1 CSD05 and CSD06.
