Venkat,
I would suggest that you look in the manuals before posting questions. All of this information is contained in them and the manuals are freely avaialable on the web.
System Administration Guide.
crtmqm
-lf LogFileSize
Specifies the size of the log files in units of 4 KB.
In MQSeries for UNIX systems, the minimum value is 64, and the maximum is 16384. The default value is 1024, giving a default log size of 4 MB.
In MQSeries for OS/2 Warp and Windows NT, the minimum value is 32, and the maximum is 4095. The default value is 256, giving a default log size of 1 MB.
-lp LogPrimaryFiles
Specifies the number of primary log files to be allocated. The default value is 3, the minimum is 2, and the maximum is 62.
-ls LogSecondaryFiles
Specifies the number of secondary log files to be allocated. The default value is 2, the minimum is 1, and the maximum is 61.
Note: The total number of log files is restricted to 63, regardless of the number requested.
The limits given in the previous parameter descriptions are limits set by MQSeries. Operating system limits may reduce the maximum possible log size.
Cheers,

Eddiea,
Thanks for your kind information.Actually i am very new to do all this work.I saw log file size 16384 before and thought it would be to Windows also.I look at mqseries administration guide - - recovery and restart for log files.I didn't find maximum size of log file.If i see every page from starting then definitely i will get all information. After your posting i look at chapter 11 configuration details and came to know that windows 2000 has maximum file size of 4095.
This forum help me to save my time.I can read but having little bit time and have to do so much work.I think you can understand my problem.
Thanks to all. |
