Hello experts,
We have a new app that needs to send/receive messages to an external client.
Is it possible to have the app connect in client mode to the external client without having to have its own qmgr setup?
If yes, are there any limitations ?
Thanks |

You are talking about messages, so there has to be a messaging system somewhere in the mix. If you are talking about MQ, there has to be a qmgr in the mix. Whether local or remote is your choice, but there is no way to send a message from client to client without it, the message, going through a queue manager... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Are you referring to IBM MQ Client?
Messaging products and protocols exist that do not require a message management service, but IBM MQ is not one of them.
There is quite a gamut of messaging products that address various market requirements for quality of service, functionality, overall ease of use, vendor support, cost, etc. _________________ Glenn |
