Hi,

I'm running WMQI 2.1 CSD03 on Win2000 and Solaris.

I would like to define an MRM element value as
S<cr> where <cr> is the carriage return (x'0d').

Is it possible ?

Thanks

Yes. Use any of these 2 options,
1. Define an element into your messageset, which is of type binary (1 BYTE). Assign X'0D' to this element.
2. Define a char element into your message set, use CAST AS CHAR ... CCSID function to assign newline char to this element.
