Hi All,
Following instructions in the ACE12 Knowledge Center, I've populated a keywords.txt file with version information and saved that file to a shared lib .bar. The .bar structure is MY_SHLIB.bar/MY_SHLIB.shlibzip/META-INF/keywords.txt. The keyword property is set in keywords.txt as follows.
$MQSI Deploy BAR path=C:/Users/myid/rtcace/load/version-info/MQClient/FRAMEWORK_SHLIB/MY_SHLIB.bar MQSI$
The problem is that the keywords information is not visible in the Properties view for the deployed shared library in the ACE12 toolkit. A similar approach does work for applications (containing an embedded .appzip file), but not for shared libraries. We are at ACE12 version 12.0.5.0. Any assistance appreciated. TIA |

Could be a product defect, in which case you would need to discuss with IBM.
Just a thought...keywords.txt (usually) links the deployed code directly to a Git commit id. It allows you to easily work out what has been deployed, and where the code is. This mechanism gets used a lot less these days - most development orgs use a binary repository to store the BAR files, and the linkage is from deployed BAR version -> binary repo -> git. |

ACE v12.0.6.0 includes a fix (APAR IT41593), so that mqsilist displays the full path for barfiles deployed using the Integration API. It should no longer be necessary to use keywords as a workaround for that.
ACE v12.0.6.0 also seems to have fixed whatever was going on with displaying keywords for shared libraries. |
