Further to my previous issue where FDCs and mqjms.log were thrown by an MQ Client application:
By default, the FDCs and mqjms.log.0 (and .1, .2 etc) are thrown and end up in the MQClient app 'startup' directory.
I can relocate the mqjms.log.0 to a common logs directory [ allows for easy cleanup] using the parameter -Dcom.ibm.msg.client.commonservices.log.outputName=/filesys/applic/common/logs
The FDCs remain in the 'startup' directory - How can I relocate them to the commonlogs directory? I haven't found anything in Infocenter to assist |

Yes, that is partially the solution.
As I stated, the mqjms.log.0 is 'relocated' - the FDCs are not |

That should have said "a commonlogs" directory rather than "the commonlogs".
it is a User (self) defined location for logging that I have scripts running to rotate/trim logs.
As I stated the aforementioned -D parameter address the mqjms.log.0 (et seq) files but not the FDCs |

What/where is the MQClient app 'startup' directory?

What Server platform? What version/release/modification of MQ Server?
What Client platform? What version/release/modification of MQ Client?
