Fellow MQ'ers,

I have an application that wants to put all the application queues on EMC storage in case the main WMQ server goes down and all that is needed is to bring WMQ up on the backup server, again using the application queues on the EMC storage.

The EMC storage is shared between the two WMQ servers. Is this possible? Where is it documented in the WMQ manuals.

This is possible, I have done it on HPUX and NT.

See MC66 or MC63 there are some more depending on platform, but the basic setup is the same.
