Hello All,
I am getting below error in MQ error logs running on Linux8, MQ 9.1.0.7
WebSphere MQ was unable to acquire a semaphore within the normal timeout
period of 0 minutes, any idea? MQ was running fine.

Please post the complete error description, including the error message(s) in the form AMQnnnn. Was an FDC created? Look in the errors directory. Post the first few dozen lines - including the Probe Point.
Do a Google search for 'WebSphere MQ was unable to acquire a semaphore'. I found APAR corrective service IT35461, and others.
