A remote definition for a q has been changed and now a message flow is unable to put to this definition. I've tried stopping and starting the message flow but things still aren't working. Has anyone got any ideas on this?

Cheers

could be lots of things - have you checked that GET/PUT enabled, If defbind is FIXED then you may have to re-cycle the Broker & QM.
Try using amqsput until you can successfully put to tgt q

Thanks for this Stu

I've been speaking to the guys at IBM, their view is to do a redeploy, this could be a little risky id new versions of flows are in the config mgr which haven't been deployed yet. I killed the execution group process on the broker and everything sorted itself out.

Regards

I have found that the bare minumum that needs to happen is:

1.)Stop the flow that is using the queue whose defintion you want to change.

2.)Remove the flow from the execution group.

3.)Redeploy the execution group without the flow.

4.)Change the queue definition.

5.)Put the flow back in the execution group and redeploy the execution group.

Depending on the version and CSD you can use the mqsireload program on the broker machine, this will close all the queue-objects, this is not always done by a deploy
