Hello members,
have a good new year!
New year, new ideas... I wanted to install a new IIB 10.0.0.22 in my DEVL VM (Fedora 32). Sounds easy.
mq installed - check
qm created - check
tar -xzf 10.0.0-IIB-LINUXX64-FP0022.tar.gz - check
But now the hassle begins:
./iib accept license silently
==> mqsiexplain, libImbCmdLib.so,..... libjvm.so not found.
After patching my LD_LIBRARY_PATH and PATH, I don't get a not-found-error anymore, but:
./iib accept license silently # says:
The user environment was not adequately prepared to continue execution. Locate and run the profile supplied with the product. This file is called mqsiprofile, and is located in the bin subdirectory for the product.
and
. ./server/bin/mqsiprofile # says:
You must accept the license with the iib command before running mqsiprofile
Do you have any idea?
Thanks in advance
Christian

Solved after modifying mqsiprofile (disable license check)
Maybe it was related to wrong permissions in the file system - I was not aware of.
Best regards

Maybe? Did you change file system permissions? Generally, IBM installation sets appropriate permissions that should not be changed. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
