Hi,
I have a problem with some XML text sent to one of our queues, here it is :
When i send a message containing French characters (é.è, etc) and get them with my application, i see them correctly.
When the other side are sending me their messages, and get them on the queue with their client, they still see the characters correctly.
But when they send me a message on the queue, and i get them, i get '‚' instead of 'é', 'Š' instead of 'è', and so on..
Now i know it may have something to do with the 'CSSID' and/or the conversion, but what exactly is my problem, i need help ASAP !
Thanks ! |

Hi,
You don't mention which platforms require the "French" character set.
Therefore, review Appendix H of the WMQ Application Programming Reference for the correct CCSID for the "French" queue manager.
i.e. For Windows NT/2000, I use CCSID value of 1252.
later
