Dear MQers,
MQGem Software is pleased to announce the release of QLOAD for z/OS.
As you may well know QLOAD is an extension of my MO03 SupportPac (which also became dmpmqmsg). As a SupportPac, QLOAD was available on z/OS, and we are pleased to be able to again provide it natively on z/OS. QLOAD from MQGem contains many additions over and above the SupportPac version, and these features are now available on the z/OS platform too.
The product is available for download now at: https://www.mqgem.com/qload_download.html
To run QLOAD for z/OS, you will need a z/OS specific licence file. A QLOAD licence file for distributed platforms will not enable QLOAD for z/OS to run.
If you would like a trial licence for QLOAD for z/OS (or any other MQGem product) then please send a note to support@mqgem.com.

Are you saying that QLOAD was not available on z/OS, but now is?

Hi Bruce,
Essentially yes. When I wrote the original MO03 SupportPac I had access to a z/OS machine so I built versions for z/OS. When I left IBM they incorporated MO03 into IBM MQ as dmpmqmsg. Various customers asked me to continue to develop QLOAD which I did as part of MQGem Software but until recently we didn't have access to a z/OS machine. However, this year we have bitten the bullet and released MQSCX, MQEV and QLOAD all running natively on z/OS.
