You'll have to give a lot more information about your particular environment for someone to be able to diagnose this. What sort of message throughput is this queue manager experiencing when the problem arises? Are you using persistent messages? Are you using syncpoint? Are you using clustering? Also, I'm not sure about Tru64, but other unix operating systems like Solaris or Linux allow you to view which semaphores MQSeries has tied up...

I'd suggest installing the latest MQ CSD. There are similar problems that are fixed in it that might be what you are seeing.

There is MQSeries for Compaq Tru64 Unix v5.1, CSD08. This is the latest (and first) CSD on this platform.

We are working on a lot of unix servers but only Tru64 sent the same error described by kgabi. For correctness, only one Tru64 box of 3!. Moreover, there was no problems before installing CSD .

bower:

this is the first CSD for Tru64, level is CSD08.

This is living problem! The IBM immediatelly released CSD09 and quickly removed.
