I noticed the problem that sender channel cannot send messages to the remote queue manager because their transmission queue is opened by an other unknown application. I tried to open the transmission queue with an other application to see the messages in it but the RC was 2042 or Object in use. Normally on OS/390 MQSeries panel when channel is not started its transmission queue is not opened and there is no indication on the panel for it. With DISPLAY THREAD(*) TYPE(*) command I discovered there were only channel initiator and CICS threads on the OS/390 queue manager. I solved the problem with quiesce stop of the queue manager. After that the problematic thread was canceled and channel is normally started. All messages 850 were sent normally to the remote queue manager from transmission queue. How to solve this problem without stopping the queue manager? How to find the wrong thread and cancel it? I have got Candle Command Center for MQSeries. Maybe this can help me in this situation?
