Hello all
MQ Explorer v913 doesn't show in <qmgr> -> Propterties -> General -> Startup.
Is this option "Startup" somewhere else?
Thanks! |

Does strmqcfg at a shell launch the MQExplorer? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

i wonder if the first one (with startup info) is a server connection, where as the 9.1.3 one is a client connection ... Looking at the pic I am unable to say for sure one way or the other... I would not expect to see the startup type on a client connection... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

I believe you have hit the nail on the head.
Yes, indeed. Startup is a local only attribute. It will not be shown if the queue manager is set up with a client connection. In addition there are a number of property sections that differ between the two screenshots showing that one is local and one is client connected as well.
For example the qm.ini stanzas, XA resource managers; Installable services; Channels; TCP; LU6.2; NetBIOS; and SPX are only shown for a local connection as a client connection cannot read the qm.ini file to discover this information.
Cheers,
