Hi Guys,
I need some detailed info. on relevance of using MQSeries with Peoplesoft. Has anybody done it? If yes, what was the reason for taking up MQSEries, when pplsoft itself has got the tools like CI, App Messaging & Integration Broker to access other application logic/components ?
Why shud one invest on mQSEries when already pplsoft comes with a set of tools to integrate itself with third party environments?
A lot of products claim some EAI capability. However these products do not figure as market leaders in the EAI space. They may be OK for certain purposes though.
Depends what you need to integrate with - for internal directory integration you might use a product like DirXML from Novell - this has "drivers" for peoplesoft and nearly all directory products.
If your site uses MQ then I would mandate it - at least at the messaging level even if the broker technology is different. But peoplesoft is usually an internal HR application - and not part of core business systems.
