Hi,

We have 2 queue managers: QM1 and QM2, bi-directional connections are setup between them by 2 pairs of sender/receiver channels, both direction communications are working fine.

We are now trying to enable SSL security on connections, after keydb creation and key exchange between QM1 and QM2, we are issuing command:

alter channel(QM1toQM21) chltype(SDR) SSLCIPH(TLS_RSA_WITH_3DES_EDE_CBC_SHA)

but we got below error message:

WebSphere MQ object QMRATOQMGRB not found

Any advice why does this happen?

Thanks

If you want to maintain mixed- or lower-case, you must enclose in apostrophes; otherwise, mq will fold into upper-case.

Try with apostrophes, like this: alter channel (QM1toQM21) chltype(SDR) ...

Great, when I encoded the channel name with apostrophes, alter channel command worked perfectly.

Thanks again...
