Hi,
We are facing issue with log4j(IAM3 support pac, which is not reliable), we had placed log4j.xml properties in a certain location under /var/log and then later we created a seperate directory /app and moved it there. Now we are getting the error saying
Text:CHARACTER:java.lang.LinkageError: loading constraint violation: loader "com/ibm/broker/classloading/SharedClassLoader@5f9122a6" previously initiated loading for a different type with name "org/apache/log4j/spi/LoggingEvent" defined by loader "com/ibm/broker/classloading/GroupedClassLoader@a08119db"
We tried restarting EG, broker, deleting and redeploying the applications, but the issue was not resolved
jar files are placed in the location /var/mqsi/shared-classes. |

hi...i'm not sure where IAM3 looks for log4j.xml properties file - at PATH, CLASSPATH variables or the default Integration server/Broker workpath/classpath folders.
You could try compare where all '/var/log' exists and add '/app' to the same and see that works, eg:- to the PATH or CLASSPATH variables. |

You mean to say that, this can be related to log4j.xml file also, and not related to jar? |
