I have a cluster with a couple dozen partial repositories. And I have DEFCLXQ(CHANNEL) set. So it creates a new XMIT queue for every channel. I just find it easier to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
But I've removed a few queue managers from the cluster in recent months, and I'm finding that their XMIT Queues aren't going away.
Do I need to do a Reset Cluster on each node to get the ones that no longer exist to drop?

What led you to the belief that they would go away?
I can't find any information in KC either way, but my I would not expect them to be deleted. I don't know that the queue manager can be sure you are finished with them.
Cheers,
