Greetings,
We have a new WildFire Workshop coming, called MQPERF1. It's focus is on MQ for z/OS performance, tuning, and of course MQ SMF evaluation using both MP1B and MQSMFCSV.
The session abstract:
After many requests, the Washington Systems Center has developed a two day workshop devoted to reviewing the health and well being on z/OS queue managers. You will start off reviewing JES logs for the queue manager and CHIN. Then an in depth review of the MQ SMF data, using the freely available tools MP1B and MQSMFCSV. Lots of hands on labs! And you can optionally bring your own SMF data, if you want to take a test drive with MQSMFCSV.
The beta session for this workshop is December 18-19 in Dallas TX. It is close to the holidays, but that was the first available time slot.
We are limiting this session to 15 people, so if you want to attend, please contact your local IBM technical sales rep. If you do not know who that is I suggest contacting Chris Griego (cgriego@us.ibm.com), Ron Fortin (rfortin@us.ibm.com), Shalawn King (shalawn@us.ibm.com), or me (elkinsc@us.ibm.com).
If Dallas is not a good location for you, please talk to your IBM team about what location you would like to see this event. Or contact Shalawn and me. We are looking to start scheduling for 2019!
Thanks so much,
Lyn Elkins |
