Hi all,
I need your help.
What name can I set into "Collab=" parameter of mySAP.com adapter when we use WMQI as a broker(not Inter Change Server)?
[Situation]
Now I'm trying to interface between SAP R/3 and WMQI using mySAP.com adapter from WBIA.
I'm using "RFC Server module".
When I run a module on R/3 system to call a function on another system, an error occurs, unfortunately.
The error message of the adapter says, "the name of collaboration may be incorrect or a collaboration is not running".
According to the manual(mySAP.com adapter), it says when we use WMQI as a broker, "a dummy value must be provided for the collaboration name".
But I have no idea what kind of name I can set into the parameter("Collab="), because WMQI doesn't have any collaborations and it is WMQI, not CrossWorlds!
Additionally, there's no information about it in WBIA manuals.
Does anyone have an idea?
Are there any resources about the interface between WBIA and WMQI messge flows?
How can I build a message flow to communicate with WBIA?
Many thanks in advance,
J.YAMA |

Did you solve your problem?

Hello, Eduardo.
Thank you for your response.
Actually and basically, I think the problem has been solved, but I'm facing another problem about the interface between WMQI and the adapter.
When we use WMQI as a broker (not ICS), it seems that error messages are not transmitied to broker from the adapter when, for instance, a BAPI call failed.
I have no idea how to handle errors occured on SAP system.
And I'm facing additional problem now.
When I use "RFC Server Module" with WMQI, it seems that a broker is unable to return its response (updated) data to SAP through the adapter, even input data from the adapter correctly comes to the broker.
As a challenge, I tried to change "Status" code area in RFH2 in the returning message to the adapter, but ...original input data is always returned.
Any ideas?
Anyway, thanx again for your response and don't you think information about WBIA is precious nowadays?
Cheers,

Hi Johnny,
Unfortunately I'm not dealing with RFCServer module YET, only IDOCs (ALE) and just start with BAPI module, but the project is just starting...
There's another forum at http://www.openitx.com/g/CROSSWORLDS-L.asp with good information over adapters. Maybe you can find complementary information.
Any news, I'll be glad to tell you.

Hi Eduardo,
Thanx for your prompt response and useful information.
As I mentioned earlier, I have an experience in BAPI module and may help you.
So please try to post a question when you'd be in trouble.
I hope we will do a good business with WBI package.
Regards,

Curious if this problem has been solved. We are currently encountering the exact same issues and IBM support isn't much help in the matter....
