Do you mean:
- Websockets in the "modern" sense
- TCP socket level connections
- HTTP socket connections
- REST API connections
- some other kind of connection
"websockets" is an overused and abused term. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Also which side is IIB? Client or server? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

So the obvious first step is to use the HTTP nodes to control these. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

thansk for that , then what is the websockets concept in IIB.
you mean to say that Websockets on Http we can use the HTTP Nodes .
If so server url to the server side starts with
wss://****** |

So you're not using Websockets in the HTTP sense but the more modern sense of a bi-directional stream (which opens with an HTTP handshake).
Your best plan of action would be a) do some research so you actually understand what it is you're trying to build b) figure out the best way to fit this into the framework, which will probably include a fair amount of custom Java _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Hence my point a) above.

The relationship is how you choose to adapt the Java code to run inside the IIB environment; hence my point b) above. JCN not Java app, classloader strategy, garbage collection, error handling, etc., etc.
If you're looking for a Websockets node in IIB, not in any current version. I'm sure IBM is working on it.
A possible alternative is to run the existing client you have in WAS (or equivalent) and have that communicate with IIB over REST/SOAP/protocol with a built in IIB node. Not perhaps the best alternative but it does remove a lot of the development overhead. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
