Hi,
We have setup 2 way communication between 2 windows machines and using Trigger to execute a transaction.Till now we have used TRIGTYPE=EVERY.
Now, there is requirement for below Trigger type:
TRIGGER TYPE=N
TRIGGER VSET=N
I knew that DEPTH parameter is also used in Trigger.
Can anyone please explain the use of above mentioned parameters.
Thanks. |

What research have you done? Did you search Google, for instance? What were your results?
Could you please tell us what MQ version, what o/s, what type of transactions, ... _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Hi Bruce,
yes, i searched on Google, the Trigger TYPE is 'FIRST', 'EVERY' and DEPTH. it seems that the parameters are for DEPTH. I just need to be sure as i am new to MQ. secondly, i did not find related to 'VSET' parameter.
MQ version - 9.0.5. OS - windows -10
Thanks for the help! |

There is no MQ TRIGGER TYPE like N.
There is no MQ TRIGGER attribute or setting like VSET.
Please check the source of your requirements and their applicability to MQ.
We would like to know what they mean. _________________ Glenn |

Where did the requirement come from? Did it specify TRIGGER VSET=N? If so, ask the person who wrote the requirement.
Search Google for discussions on triggering. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
