hi
I am facing a weird issue with IIB v10.0.0.6 version of toolkit. The namespace that i declared for a tag in outputroot are being returned as new fields in the output.
PFB the code and output. Any help will be much appreciated.
Here is my code.
SET OutputRoot.XMLNSC.SOAPENV:Envelope.(XMLNSC.NamespaceDecl)xmlns:SOAPENV = 'http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/';
DECLARE soapEnvRef REFERENCE TO OutputRoot.XMLNSC.SOAPENV:Envelope;
CREATE FIELD soapEnvRef.SOAPENV:Header;
You have probably copied your message tree into an Environment tree that does not have a parser associated with it. That clears all of the parser-specific flags on the elements, including the one that indicates that it's an attribute/namespace declaration! If I'm right then the fix is simple; just CREATE the Environment field with a DOMAIN clause specifying the parser name. There are plenty of examples in this forum, actually.
btw, this is nothing to do with the toolkit. Your code gets executed by the runtime.
