So there are startup scripts for UNIX HA Qmgrs but not MI. That's fine, I modified both start and stop scripts to handle HA vs MI vs standalone.

The thing is, I have no idea if a Qmgr should be started as MI or standalone. I know for HA, the HA monitor will handle the start/stop and can call scripts specific for that case.

So I'm think'n.... I could just always start standalone or MI Qmgrs with the MI switch.

Do you think there would be any issues?

For standalone, the file systems would be local. Haven't tried it yet but will shortly.
