Hi,
I need to trigger a cics transaction along with data. I'll give the transaction name and the type in the process name. In which parameter do i specify the data? My requirement is
I put a string of data in the queue. As soon as the message is put a transaction has to be triggered and that string should be retrieved by the triggered transaction for further processing. Can you please help me in this.

Thanks in advance
Dil

Good luck...

Part of the information passed to the triggered transaction is the Trigger Header. That contains the Queue name that caused the trigger to fire. Your application would then use that to GET from the Queue using 'normal' MQ techniques.

Cheers,
