Hello,
Just looking for some experiences on the subject detailed above and some clarification - so you have two Windows servers going to be used as a multi instance QM setup, software installed on both and your "data" and "logs" reside on a disks which run in effect Linux and SMB share and like the Windows servers authenticates against Active Directory...so Domain mqm group created in AD, I assumed you would need to create the mqm group and mqm user on the Linux disks as well? (the mqm group is created on the 2 x Windows servers while installing as expected with a Windows install)
Secondly that the data and logs would be owned by the Linux created mum user and group as would be expected if the instal had been directly onto Linux in the first place?
Have read the numerous IBM docs on setting up Domain controllers and MQ, but it assumes the disks for data and logs would also be Windows orientated.
Any experiences or paperwork I have missed gratefully accepted.
Thanks in advance
Perhaps not relevant per se but for completeness this is v9.0.0.3 on W2012R2 and said Linux disk share. _________________ -------- *
