Hi

I have some issues with a certificate request that doesn't appear in the kdb

First I go to the ssl path of the qmgr I want to create te csr for:

/var/mqm/qmgrs/MQ001/ssl/

then I create the request with the following command:

runmqckm -certreq -create -db key.kdb -label ibmwebspheremqmq001 -dn "CN=server.name,O=...,C=..,OU=MQ001,L=....." -size 2048 -file MQ001.csr

after this I enter the kdb password and the .csr file is created successfully, but when I try to verify if the csr is in the kdb it doesn't appear

I try to list the certreqs

runmqckm -certreq -list -db key.kdb -pw password

No request key was found in the key database

There is only one kdb, so that is not the problem. And I also tried with the full path to the kdb:

/var/mqm/qmgrs/MQ001/ssl/key.kdb (both for creating the .csr and listing) but nothing seems to work

Thanks in advance

The .rdb file contains the request information, not the .kdb file.

Think of it as request database and key database.

THIS ARTICLE will be of help to you.
