If you have Linux queue manager and many Websphere Application servers,
is it for overall performance better to connect Websphere Application servers
to only one server connection channel or to many server connection channels,
for example number of Websphere Application servers is equal to number of server connection channels?
The name of the svrconn channel doesn't really matter. This is just the definition of the channel.
The actual active instances of the channels are separate and could refer to one name or many without affecting the performance.
However the maxinst and maxinstc values do apply based on the number of instances of channels with a particular name. _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error.
