Hi All,
we are seeing this error very often,
we have a flow with Input As SFTP . that flow is regularly throwing this Error
| Code: |
An unexpected reply has been received from ''SFTP'' server ''Dummyserver.dummydomain.com''. The command and reply are: ''Error while trying to get a directory list. Reason: ''.

any FTP/SFTP experts can advise why this error is occurring very often . |

Do you get an exception? Did you run a user trace to see if more detailed sftp logs are shown? |

The remote ftp isn't returning a directory list or an error. Check the log on the remote end to see why.

Thanks for the Replies ,
i have figured out this error in the Event viewer where very little information is available .
though this error not affecting any file transfer . after this error when i tried to connect to the S FTP using Filezilla i'm able to connect to it without any issue.
my doubt is can we ignore this error as it is not impacting the file transfer or shall report this to one who is hosting the S FTP. |

| Hi Anil...As Vitor mentioned it is worth checking the sftp logs at remote end which should have more diagnostic info in it. |
