I am trying to troubleshoot a triggering problem with MQServices trigger monitor. I have a custom service defined to start the trigger monitor and monitor the SYSTEM.DEFAULT.INITIATION.QUEUE. I put a message to the triggered queue and a the trigger monitor tries to launch the app but fails with MQFB_APPL_CANNOT_BE_STARTED putting a dead letter message. The trigger monitor is launcing a bat file. The odd thing is that when I use the trigger monitor from the command line it all works perfect. So I do not think I have a problem with my setup of queues or process def. I am using MQ 5.3 CSD1 on windows 2000 server. I have already tried the MQSeries Trigger Monitor service and it fails with cannot find executable, when it is looking for the batch file. The only other item that might be worth mentioning is that another app is already setup for triggering using the trigger monitor service. I had orginally setup an additional trigger thread to watch the other init queue within the trigger monitor service but I am just wanting anything to work now.
