Hi all;
The problem comes up when trying to make a CWF representation of an XML message missing an External Decimal element type containing an attribute element.
When i delete the attribute element from the complex type which is based on an external decimal , the MRM parser works fine. But when it contains the attribute element , only the attribute element is shown in the output with its default value. Notice that a proper default value is set for both the External Decimal element and it's attribute element .
The complex element is 18 bytes long and the attribute element contains 3 bytes.
No error message is produced but the missing complex element is not shown with it's default value.Only the attribute with it's default value is wrritten. |

CWF? Is this a legacy MRM stuff that just changed. If it is a new development why aren't you using DFDL? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

DFDL couldn't be employed since the company uses WMB V7.0.0.1. |

Sounds like a bug in the serialization.
If the clients were using a supported version, you could raise a PMR>
But they're not, so you can't, you're contact admin. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
