We cannot seem to get Explorer to view any Solaris based QM's. Any secrets to this? |

Check to see if you have your inetd.conf and etc/services configured properly, specifying the listener and its port. amqscrta i think.
Do you have a svrconn channel defined.
Cheers.

- On Solaris, set up /etc/services and /etc/inetd.conf (or start a listener manually with runmqlsr)
- Create a server connection channel: define channel(SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN) chltype(SVRCONN)
- Start the queue manager (strmqm)
- Start the command server (strmqcsv)
- On NT workstation, show remote queue manager, with appropriate port number
- Make sure your NT userid is defined on Solaris, and has appropriate access (member of mqm group most of the time). An alternative (only for testing but not recommended in real-life situation) is to set an mcauser on SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN.
