Hello,
Currently I am using v8.0.0.4 of AMQMDNET.dll (Websphere MQ classes for .NET), which appears to have been compiled against .NET Framework 2.0. While this assembly may actually RUN on newer versions of the framework and runtime, I don't believe this framework is supported by MS anymore.
Does anyone know whether there is a newer version of AMQMDNET.dll available that is compiled against a more recent, supported version of the .NET framework?

Check version 8.0.0.6 of the mq client.
I believe the minimum for the .NET framework required there is 3.5

Thank you. Unfortunately I think 3.5 is also unsupported at this point.
Do you know if there is there any version compiled against 4.5.2 or 4.6+? |

Don't know about compiled against those versions, but you can certainly use the V8 client with the 4.5 framework. I said that the 3.5 was a minimum level, not that it was the only one it worked with...

.Net 3.5 is installed using thre Server Manager part of Server 2008R2
As such, I don't think that it is unsupported now. It's support may well end with the EOL for Server 2008 R2 which is IMHO the best Server OS they released. 2012 (and later) went all spaceified on the GUI. Huge amounts of White space that make things really hard to manage when you are stuck with using a 1366x768 corporate laptop.
However in my book, the words Microsoft and Support should never be in the same document let alone sentence but that is another matter entirely.
.Net 3.5 may also be in Server 2012 as well but I can't confirm that, just something in my memory says that it is there in Server Manager.
