Migrating from v5.2 of mqseries to v5.3(October 2002 cdrom), the install
using smit goes okay with no problems. When we attempt to start the
qmanager we are seeing the following messages:
Starting CSQXD...
AMQ6109: An internal WebSphere MQ error has occurred.
AMQ8101: WebSphere MQ error (40406109) has occurred.
AMQ6109: An internal WebSphere MQ error has occurred
We then went back to the V5.2 MQ(uninstalled v5.3) and everything worked fine.
Any ideas of what is causing this? |

Did you get any *.FDC files? The error messages that you listed usually give one. If you can post the top of it here, it will shed more light. |

Looks like a semaphore problem, can you bump up the max number of semaphores in the kernel ??? _________________ Jeff

My guess would be that you have a semaphore laying around that is messing things up. You can use ipcs and ipcrm to look at and then get rid of them. |
