Hey,
Has anyone noticed abend behaviour with WMQI? The abend is not very reproducable (which probably indicates a threading/memory issue), but it seems to happen almost always sometime after a reconfiguration of a node (my own java node) and a redeployment.
At one point I tracked the offending code down to a
MbInputNode::createMessage(byte[])
call, and have since taken that out to use an alternative method. However, the broker still abends occasionally, and as I say, particularly sometime after a redeployment. After the abend, (and the automatic restart) the broker works fine and doesn't seem to abend further after that (unless I do a redeploy). But the abend is very unpredictable, and these are only observations.
Has anyone noticed this and knows of a way to avoid it? Am I doing something wrong in my java code that is causing this, or does the broker simply go into an invalid state sometime after a deployment? Does all this just get fixed in a later version??
I am using WMQI 2.1 CSD02 & CSD03, and have noticed this behaviour in both these versions. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
