Hi everyone,
I am facing a very weird issue: when I issue the mqsisetdbparms command, it does nothing, returns no message:
Code: |
[root@IIBSRV bin]# mqsisetdbparms BRK_DEV -n odbc::CORP -u admin -p passw0rd
[root@IIBSRV bin]#
|
The command line just goes to next line
Does anybody have any clue?
Have a nice weekend

What are you expecting ?
Not sure if you need the odbc:: prefix.
What's the output from
Code: |
mqsicvp BRK_DEV -n CORP
and/or
mqsicvp BRK_DEV -n odbc::CORP |

A bip message (i.e 8071I). The problem is: I got no message after issuing the command, and the command does not bind my broker to my ODBC. See how it works in my local environment:
Code: |
C:\IBM\IIB\10.0.0.1>mqsisetdbparms IIB01 -n odbc::TEST -u user -p password
BIP8071I: Successful command completion.
C:\IBM\IIB\10.0.0.1>
|
Did you notice the BIP message? Btw, if I issue a mqsicvp command it fails because the mqsisetdbparms simply does nothing, return no message. That's the problem _________________ Go as far as you can go. Then go farther! |
