Our implementation partner is floating around the idea of replacing our IIB implementation with Apache Service Mix. I have no experience with Apache Service Mix. On reading about it a little bit, it looks like very intensive coding and i dont believe it has a graphical UI like toolkit. Can you share your thoughts on APache Service Mix comparison to IIB.
i believe the pitch is along the lines of cost saving. |

just tried a sample online, this isn't anywhere near the capability of what broker can do. I mean the ease with which we can do things in broker i mean. Maybe it has features to do things. |

If it's a question of "cost savings", then get a detailed breakdown of costs associated.
Like - Product cost
- Migration Cost
- Developer Training cost
- Code migration cost
- Testing cost
- Support Cost
- Adminstrator training
- Ongoing maintenance
- Server reliability
- etc etc etc
Usually "cost savings" means "cost for software purchase", not any of the other factors. _________________ chmod -R ugo-wx / |

You don't need to get the information. Just ask the question.
Eventually the question should get high enough that someone who can make the decision will think about them. _________________ chmod -R ugo-wx / |
