I have been working with IIB development for a while. But since I am not involved with administrative tasks, I couldn't figure out how db2 is tied with IIB.
While creating a message flow, we specify only DSN (Data Source Name). How does the system identify DB2 from this DSN? Where is this configuration exists?

you need to define the ODBC connection to broker.
the
Code:
mqsisetdbparms
command is your friend here
as is the
Code:
mqsicvp
command.
There are plenty of posts here about setting up the connection as well as that thing that people don't seem to even consider these days, the documentation.
As this is DB2, you may well have to install the correct dB2 client software first but this is described.
It is all there (in one or other of the sources) so go take a look, do some experimentation and if you run into issues then come back and tell us what you did, and what went wrong including a full description of the errors you are seeing. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
